This is the most common example we find in both the Bible and the Qur’an. Chapter 37 of the book of Genesis of Taurat, tells the story of Joseph. This story is also found in the Qur’an in chapter 12, when Joseph receives a dream from Allah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“When Joseph said to his father, “O my father, I saw eleven planets, and the sun, and the moon; I saw them bowing down to me.” – Yusuf, 12:4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Then he dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers and said, “Behold, I have dreamed another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” But when he told it to his father and to his brothers, his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves to the ground before you?” And his brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the saying in mind.” – Taurat, Genesis 37:10-11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Los hermanos de Jos\u00e9 ten\u00edan envidia y celos de \u00e9l, y los sue\u00f1os que Jos\u00e9 hab\u00eda tenido aumentaron a\u00fan m\u00e1s su ira. As\u00ed que tramaron un plan contra \u00e9l y lo vendieron como esclavo en Egipto. Allah sab\u00eda todo y ya ten\u00eda un plan para Jos\u00e9 y su familia y el sue\u00f1o que recibi\u00f3 fue en realidad una revelaci\u00f3n de lo que suceder\u00e1.
En Egipto, Jos\u00e9 sirvi\u00f3 en la casa de un hombre poderoso e influyente, y debido a su esposa , que acus\u00f3 a Jos\u00e9 de intentar seducirla, envi\u00f3 a Jos\u00e9 a prisi\u00f3n, pero Allah ten\u00eda un plan para todo. (ver Taurat, G\u00e9nesis 39).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En la prisi\u00f3n, Joseph interpret\u00f3 los sue\u00f1os de dos prisioneros, por el poder de Allah que estaba con \u00e9l. Y sucedi\u00f3 con ellos, como Jos\u00e9 hab\u00eda dicho. \u201cY sucedi\u00f3 que al tercer d\u00eda fue el cumplea\u00f1os del fara\u00f3n, y \u00e9l dio un banquete a todos sus servidores. Entonces levant\u00f3 la cabeza del jefe de los coperos y la cabeza del jefe de los panaderos, en medio de sus servidores. Al jefe de los coperos lo restituy\u00f3 en su cargo de copero, y este volvi\u00f3 a poner la copa en la mano del fara\u00f3n. Pero hizo ahorcar al jefe de los panaderos, como Jos\u00e9 les hab\u00eda interpretado. Sin embargo, el jefe de los coperos no se acord\u00f3 de Jos\u00e9, sino que se olvid\u00f3 de \u00e9l.\u201d \u2013 Taurat, G\u00e9nesis 40:20-23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After some time, Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, had dreams and there was no one who could interpret them. Then ,finally the cupbearer remembered of Joseph, who worshiped the Creator God, the true God and Joseph was then called to the king’s presence and after praying and asking for wisdom from Allah, he gave the interpretation to the king : “Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one; God has revealed to Pharaoh what he is about to do. The seven good ears are seven years, and the seven good ears are seven years; the dreams are one. The seven lean and ugly cows that came up after them are seven years, and the seven empty ears blighted by the east wind are also seven years of famine. It is as I told Pharaoh; God has shown to Pharaoh what he is about to do. ” – Taurat, Genesis 41:25-28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dicho esto, Jos\u00e9 le sugiri\u00f3 al rey que eligiera a alguien capaz de administrar las provisiones para los siete a\u00f1os de hambre: \u201cEl hecho de que el sue\u00f1o del fara\u00f3n haya sucedido dos veces significa que la cosa est\u00e1 firmemente decidida de parte de Dios, y que Dios se apresura a ejecutarla. Por tanto, prov\u00e9ase el fara\u00f3n de un hombre entendido y sabio y p\u00f3ngalo a cargo de la tierra de Egipto.\" \u2013 Taurat, G\u00e9nesis 41:32-33. El rey coloc\u00f3 a Jos\u00e9 en una posici\u00f3n de l\u00edder y \u00e9l podr\u00eda hacer provisi\u00f3n para los a\u00f1os de hambruna que vendr\u00edan. \u00c9l a\u00fan no lo sab\u00eda, pero esta disposici\u00f3n salvar\u00eda miles de vidas en la tierra de Egipto y su familia, su padre y sus hermanos que lo vendieron como esclavo, a quienes tuvo la oportunidad de volver a ver, y se reconciliaron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vemos claramente que en esta historia, en las tres veces que se enviaron los sue\u00f1os de Allah, primero a Jos\u00e9, luego a los prisioneros y luego al rey, los mensajes del sue\u00f1o se hicieron realidad.
