Je suis Ruth et je viens de la terre o\u00f9 Mon Ma\u00eetre J\u00e9sus-Christ a march\u00e9. Je viens d\u2019une famille instruite qui valorise l\u2019islam et qui accomplit ses devoirs obligatoires, comme la pri\u00e8re et le je\u00fbne. J\u2019ai grandi en ha\u00efssant les chr\u00e9tiens que je croyais adorer trois dieux. Mais J\u00e9sus m\u2019est apparu dans un r\u00eave qui a chang\u00e9 toute ma vie.<\/p>\n
I want to tell you that our God is the God of miracles. I know for sure that this is true, for this is my own testimony with Him. Today, I was baptized, following the example of my Lord, my God and my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I changed my name to Ruth. All I want to do is to walk as my Lord did, “For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps” (1 Peter 2:21). He called us to hear His voice and be within His flock. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).<\/p>\n
Before my baptism, I was praying for many things, and my baptism was one of them. I prayed for it dearly, but I realized, as the Bible says, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3: 1).<\/p>\n
I was in communication with some Christian denominations during this period. I always wanted to grow with and in the person of the Lord Jesus, and in the end I knew how much my God loved me and wanted me to be part of the remnant by following the Bible as my constitution for life, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119: 105), and keeping His commands and the faith of Jesus. “Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). And not by following the commandments of men, “And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15: 9). The Lord Jesus wanted to take me out of the darkness of Islam to His marvelous light, “that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2: 9). I passed through many stages until I was brought to this church that preserves the Bible as a constitution in everything related to our lives and the worship of God.<\/p>\n
Je remercie le Seigneur de m'avoir guid\u00e9 de me faire baptiser au bon endroit. Je Le remercie de m\u2019avoir donn\u00e9 patience et sagesse et de m\u2019avoir guid\u00e9 vers l\u2019importance de choisir l\u2019\u00e9glise qui conserve tous les commandements et la foi de J\u00e9sus. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 mon \u00e9tude de la Bible, je me suis rendu compte l\u2019\u00e9tendue des t\u00e9n\u00e8bres dans d\u2019autres \u00e9glises et leur distance de la Bible. J\u2019y ai vu beaucoup de choses qui affligent le Saint-Esprit (adoration des idoles, ne pas observer le sabbat, interc\u00e9der aupr\u00e8s des saints, prier au nom de Marie, les pri\u00e8res r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es, la peur de l\u2019\u00e9vang\u00e9lisation, l\u2019hypocrisie dans la foi, et bien d\u2019autres).<\/p>\n
There are many nominal Christians. Their faith is far from biblical truth because they have taken strange gods, which they manufacture with their hands. My baptism into my church is the best gift given to me by the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus taught me to be faithful to Him, to be faithful in the Spirit in prayer, to read the Word and to serve, “not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer” (Romans 12:11-12).<\/p>\n
Je continuerai maintenant ma vie avec cette communaut\u00e9 de croyants, mon \u00e9glise dans laquelle j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 baptis\u00e9, par la pri\u00e8re, la pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance et le service avec action de gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la gr\u00e2ce du Seigneur J\u00e9sus. J\u2019ai exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 comment mes fr\u00e8res croyants passent leur temps \u00e0 prier pour les autres, \u00e0 glorifier et \u00e0 remercier Dieu dans leur conversation et \u00e0 garder les commandements de Dieu et la foi de J\u00e9sus. R\u00e9chauff\u00e9s par la foi, ils prennent la Bible comme une constitution, et J\u00e9sus-Christ est leur exemple supr\u00eame et le chef de l\u2019Eglise. Ils ob\u00e9issent au Seigneur comme il est \u00e9crit dans la Bible. Donc, ils respectent tout le monde sans exception, ils n\u2019ont aucun pr\u00e9jug\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de qui que ce soit, et ils ne m\u00e9prisent pas et n\u2019attaquent pas les autres confessions comme les autres. J\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert \u00e0 quel point l\u2019attaque contre mon \u00e9glise est violente aujourd\u2019hui, apr\u00e8s mes rapports et mes \u00e9tudes avec d\u2019autres communaut\u00e9s. Je ne dis pas cela par ignorance, et je ne dis pas cela pour louer quelque partie que ce soit, je dis cela seulement avec un c\u0153ur sinc\u00e8re et fid\u00e8le comme le Seigneur J\u00e9sus m\u2019a enseign\u00e9.<\/p>\n
Je recherche toujours la connaissance et la sagesse du Seigneur pour tout ce qui est difficile \u00e0 affronter. Je veux \u00eatre un fid\u00e8le serviteur du Seigneur. Depuis que le Seigneur J\u00e9sus m\u2019a rencontr\u00e9 dans un r\u00eave il y a trois ans, et que j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 croire en Christ, je n\u2019ai pas \u00e9t\u00e9 baptis\u00e9 rapidement, et je r\u00e9alise maintenant que le Seigneur m\u2019a donn\u00e9 patience parce que je voulais \u00eatre baptis\u00e9 dans la vraie \u00e9glise dont le Christ est le Seigneur.<\/p>\n
We are all guests of this world, as soon as we die, there is no room for praise and service, because we are in a state of sleep waiting for the coming of Christ to take the righteous with Him to fulfill His blessed promise, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:1-3).<\/p>\n
I have waited long for the Lord to lead me to the right baptism. A group of believers kept praying for me until the Lord arranged the right time, place and person. But waiting was hard. I always cried every evening as I prayed, “Lord, help me and give me patience, wisdom and perseverance because I am truly tired and waiting for the time of my baptism to come.”<\/p>\n
Lorsque le jour promis arriva enfin, je ne pus dormir la nuit pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente \u00e0 cause de mon intense excitation et de ma joie. De plus, j\u2019avais peur que ma famille apprenne mon plan et m\u2019emp\u00eache de r\u00e9aliser mon souhait. Je me suis lev\u00e9 tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t et je me suis pr\u00e9par\u00e9 comme si j\u2019allais \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9. Je ne pouvais pas dire \u00e0 ma famille ce que j\u2019allais faire. Comme je me suis assis avec eux \u00e0 la table \u00e0 manger, j\u2019ai senti une \u00e9norme quantit\u00e9 de bonheur et d\u2019amour, mais aussi de tristesse. Pardonnez-moi, je pensai. J\u2019irai sans vous le dire, parce que vous m\u2019en emp\u00eacheriez. J\u2019irai comme Fatima et je reviendrai comme Ruth. Rien de mauvais ne se produira parce que le Seigneur J\u00e9sus m\u2019a promis qu\u2019Il me prot\u00e9gerait. Je vous aime vraiment, mais j\u2019aime mon Seigneur plus. J\u2019ai pris mon sac sur le dos et je suis parti comme si j\u2019allais \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 comme d\u2019habitude. A l\u2019universit\u00e9, j\u2019ai appel\u00e9 un taxi pour m\u2019emmener rencontrer le pasteur qui me baptiserait. En attendant, j\u2019ai invit\u00e9 un ami \u00e0 venir avec moi. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 retard\u00e9e, et j\u2019avais peur qu\u2019elle ne viendrait pas. Mais Dieu soit lou\u00e9, elle est apparue apr\u00e8s une heure qui me semblait comme un si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n
Nous avons commenc\u00e9 notre voyage pour rencontrer le pasteur et sa famille dans un endroit \u00e9loign\u00e9 du site du bapt\u00eame afin que personne ne sache o\u00f9 je me dirigeais. Nous sommes finalement arriv\u00e9s et avons rencontr\u00e9 le pasteur et sa famille. Ensuite, nous sommes all\u00e9s au site du bapt\u00eame o\u00f9 les fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs de l\u2019\u00e9glise attendaient. Quel point c'\u00e9tait merveilleux de voir ma nouvelle famille partager ma joie le jour de mon bapt\u00eame! Nous avons pri\u00e9 et pleur\u00e9 ensemble. Nous avons lu la Parole de Dieu et lou\u00e9 Son nom. Puis je leur ai racont\u00e9 mon histoire et mon voyage, m\u00e9lang\u00e9 avec mes larmes et leurs larmes.<\/p>\n
The moment came, and I entered the river. As the pastor prayed, I was saying, “Glory be to you, Lord. I love you, Jesus! My heart was before my lips, and I felt like shouting those words. Then I was baptized. As the servant of the Lord lowered me under the water, I truly felt that I become a new creature, and the old had gone. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). After a long journey as Fatima, I became Ruth. My eyes were filled with tears, and I glorified the Lord because He heard my voice and responded to me. The place was sacred. It was filled with an atmosphere of faith, desire and deep glorification of the Lord. It was indeed a wedding with the participation of my brothers in the Lord, His angels and the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n
The baptism took about two and a half hours, and then I had to leave and go home. I arrived at my house at 1 p.m. I saw my grandfather and my family at the dining table. I put the food in front of them. I sat with them and told them that the day was very beautiful. Then I went to my room and cried. Because of my love for them, I really wanted them to be baptized and to know the Lord Jesus. But I said to myself, There is no problem. Our God is merciful. In Christ, I will be strong and steadfast. I will stay with my family and pray for them. I will be an ambassador for Jesus. “Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:20).<\/p>\n
I need your prayers, for my situation is not easy. I must hide my faith from my family and live under the protection of the Lord Jesus. “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12).<\/p>\n
Veuillez prier pour ma famille et les autres musulmans pour qu\u2019ils connaissent le Seigneur J\u00e9sus et qu\u2019ils deviennent membres de l\u2019\u00e9glise restante. Tout le monde n\u2019entrera pas par la porte \u00e9troite, seulement la personne qui donne sa vie au Seigneur, supporte les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres face au croyant, suit les pas du Seigneur, et garde Ses commandements et Sa foi.<\/p>\n
