\nLes musulmans pensent que la vie actuelle n'est qu'une pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 l'\u00e9preuve pour le prochain royaume de l'existence. Cette vie est une \u00e9preuve pour chaque individu pour la vie apr\u00e8s la mort. Un jour viendra o\u00f9 l'univers entier sera d\u00e9truit et o\u00f9 les morts seront ressuscit\u00e9s pour \u00eatre jug\u00e9s par Dieu. Ce jour sera le d\u00e9but d'une vie qui ne finira jamais. Ce jour est le Jour du Jugement. Ce jour-l\u00e0, tous les gens seront r\u00e9compens\u00e9s par Dieu selon leurs croyances et leurs actes.<\/span><\/p>\n

La croyance au Jour du Jugement, ou Al Qiyamah, est obligatoire pour tous les musulmans, le concept faisant partie des six articles de foi. C'est le jour o\u00f9 Allah ressuscitera tous les hommes qui ont v\u00e9cu sur la Terre pour les juger par leurs actes et leur assigner le Paradis ou le feu de l'Enfer.<\/span><\/p>\n

We believe that judgment is an integral part of God’s nature; it is His characteristic divine prerogative. To understand God means to know and comprehend His judgments, which are very comprehensive. Through the study of His judgments, we can know who He is and what is His character. God actually invites us to understand His judgments in order to be able to deliberately declare that He is love and justice (Injil Romans 3:4; Tawrat Psalms. 51:4; 34:8; Injil Philippians 2:10-11).<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Bible there is a twofold definition of God’s judgment: positive and negative. Both aspects are usually presented and are complementary, but it is necessary to emphasize that the primary meaning is undeniably a judgment in favor of God’s faithful people (Tawrat Deuteronomy 32: 36; Tawrat 1 Chronicles 16: 33-35; Tawrat Daniel 7: 22; Injil Hebrews 9: 27-28). When God judges, it means first of all that He justifies, delivers, saves, vindicates, and protects. Judgment means justification, salvation, deliverance, and vindication. There are many examples of this positive aspect of the judgment of God, because biblical teaching about judgment is first of all redemptive in nature (Tawrat Psalms 76: 8-9).10 David can ask God: ‘Judge me, O Lord’11 (Ps. 7:8), because he knows that judgment is a vindication; it is God’s intervention on behalf of the saints; it is His vindication against our enemies. In the divine heavenly court, judgment is pronounced ‘in favor of the saints of the Most High’ (Tawrat Daniel 7:22). Nothing can be better than this forensic proclamation, because on this verdict depends the eternal life of the redeemed.<\/span><\/p>\n

I can see a same picture in Islam also, we can see that in the first Sura (Al Fatiha), it says: “In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; Most Gracious, Most Merciful; Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. Show us the straightway, The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray” (Al-Qur’an, Al-Fatiha 1. 1-7).<\/span><\/p>\n

Ce verset dit que Dieu, qui est le Tr\u00e8s Mis\u00e9ricordieux, le Tr\u00e8s Gracieux, est le Ma\u00eetre du Jour du Jugement. Alors, combien ce Dieu est grand, et combien le Jour du Jugement sera mis\u00e9ricordieux. Cette phase positive du Jugement n'est m\u00eame pas \u00e9voqu\u00e9e dans l'Islam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another verse that we can look at “And who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the day of Judgment” (Al-Shuara 26:82). He is looking for the Day of Judgment, because he is hoping that God will forgive him. I can see Prophet David’s picture here saying, “Judge me O God”.<\/span><\/p>\n
