“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” (Matthew 6: 5-8)<\/p>\n

\nIn Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus teaches us how to pray Allah’s prayer. This prayer is not meant to substitute for our personal prayer time with Allah, nor is it a transcript to be recited, but rather, it is a prayer to Allah to seek His will and guidance in our lives. The message bears much more weight than the way the words are spoken.

\nEver since we were children, we always wanted a best friend that can be with us when we need them to listen to us, advise us, and to love us. Isa Al Masih is the real life best friend that we have always desired. More importantly, His relationship with us always existed! It is our lack of knowing Him or our disconnect that contributes to a less than close relationship. But He even said Himself that He will never turn away those that come to Him.
\n“All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.”<\/span>(Injil, John 6:37)

\nIn order to have a personal relationship with our Creator, we shouldunderstand who Jesus is. Jesus is both in the Quran and the Bible, two different and yet similar accounts but both descriptions are God inspired, and, therefore, looking into the Bible to understand Jesus reveals to us a more illustrative picture of Allah.<\/p>\n

\nTanr\u0131\u2019yla ili\u015fki kurmak i\u00e7in dua kesinlikle gereklidir. Ailemiz ve arkada\u015flar\u0131m\u0131zla zaman ge\u00e7irmek i\u00e7in harcad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z \u00e7aban\u0131n ayn\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 Tanr\u0131\u2019yla zaman ge\u00e7irmeye de harcamam\u0131z gerekti\u011fini \u00e7o\u011funlukla unuturuz. \u00dcstelik bu, \u00f6zen g\u00f6sterilmesi gereken en \u00f6nemli ili\u015fkidir. Burada kastedilen bunun ezberlenmi\u015f belirli bir duan\u0131n de\u011fil, kendimizi t\u00fcm\u00fcyle Tanr\u0131\u2019ya adad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z ki\u015fisel bir duan\u0131n okundu\u011fu bir zaman olmas\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Prayer is not just a time to ask for what we want, and praying when we want something should not be the only time we pray.We are told by Isa Al Masih,\u201cSiz \u00f6ncelikle O\u2019nun egemenli\u011finin ve do\u011frulu\u011funun ard\u0131ndan gidin, o zaman size b\u00fct\u00fcn bunlar da verilecektir.\u201d <\/span><\/span>(Matta 6:33)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00c7o\u011fu zaman hayatlar\u0131m\u0131zdaki bir \u015feyler i\u00e7in dua ederiz; istedi\u011fimiz \u015fey yeni bir i\u015f, bir e\u015f, \u015fifa, maddi yard\u0131m hatta bir yavru k\u00f6pek bile olabilir. Neden her ne olursa olsun, bir \u015fey istedi\u011fimiz i\u00e7in Tanr\u0131\u2019y\u0131 aramak, O\u2019na gitmemizin tek nedeni de\u011fildir. O\u2019na ilk \u00f6nce sadece O\u2019nu, O\u2019nun mevcudiyetini, O\u2019nun rehberli\u011fini arad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z i\u00e7in gitti\u011fimizde bizde her \u015fey \u00e7o\u011falacakt\u0131r.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Allah knows our hearts, He knows our circumstances, He knows when we have done wrong even if we don’t repent. But it is through developing a relationship with Him that all of the things we desire begin to work out, sometimes not according to how we see them, but how HE sees fit. <\/strong><\/p>\n
