El Amor

Dios es amor y Dios es un misterio. Sus caminos están muy lejos de nosotros, pero Él todavía nos alcanza. Dios es infinito pero íntimo, tres, pero uno, que todo lo sabe, pero que todo lo perdona. Pasaremos la eternidad apreciando una relación cada vez más profunda con Dios Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo. A pesar de la distancia que exige el pecado, Dios se ha revelado de innumerables maneras. La Biblia es la historia de un esfuerzo de Dios para reconectarse con sus hijos, y es un método importante que Dios usa para alcanzarnos. La Biblia revela a un Dios que es siempre creativo, siempre paciente y siempre buscando restaurar nuestra relación con él. Aunque está escrito por personas comunes, a través del Espíritu atraviesa nuestros corazones, abre nuestros ojos y nos convence de que vivamos para él. Dios el Padre se acercó a nosotros de manera más dramática a través de Su Hijo Jesús, quien eligió no solo visitarnos, sino convertirnos en uno de nosotros. Jesús, nacido humano para que podamos renacer en el Espíritu, nos mostró el amor y el carácter de Dios, y cuán lejos estaba dispuesto a ir Dios para salvarnos de la autodestrucción. Lo que no pudimos hacer por nosotros mismos, lo hizo por nosotros, pagando el precio por nuestros pecados, muriendo en nuestro lugar para que podamos vivir para siempre. Él conquistó la muerte por medio de la resurrección, y prometió regresar para llevarnos a casa. Mientras tanto, Dios no nos ha dejado solos. El Espíritu Santo está aquí para consolarnos, guiarnos y transformarnos para vivir como testigos del amor de Dios. El mismo Espíritu que inspiró a los profetas y dio poder a Jesús, quien formó las Escrituras y creó el mundo, nos capacita y nos otorga poder a cada uno de nosotros. El Espíritu activa el "cuerpo de Cristo", la iglesia, a través de los dones espirituales y una actitud humilde de servicio y compasión.
God the Father reached out to us most dramatically through His Son Jesus, who chose not just to visit us, but to become one of us. Born human so we can be reborn in the Spirit, Jesus showed us God’s love and character–and how far God was willing to go to save us from self-destruction. What we could not do for ourselves, He did for us, paying the price for our sins, dying in our place so we can live forever. He conquered death through resurrection, and promised to return to take us home.
Meanwhile, God has not left us alone. The Holy Spirit is here to comfort us, guide us and transform us to live as witnesses for God’s love. The same Spirit who inspired prophets and empowered Jesus, who shaped scripture and created the world, enables and empowers each one of us. The Spirit activates the “body of Christ,” the church, through spiritual gifts and a humble attitude of service and compassion.

“Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift”….Mateo 5: 23-24..
Sometimes we can say that we serve God (Allah) but we have mistreated one of God’s children. Jesus taught that when we come to worship God we should come with a clean conscience that we have done everything within our power to make things right when we have hurt someone. This does not mean that people will always be willing to accept us. They may still hate us but at least we have tried to do what was right.
God’s people should reflect God’s love and that’s why we should try to live at peace with all people.If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. 1 John 4:20.
It’s a serious thing to hate someone. We can hate people’s mean and evil ways without hating them.Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15.
The clear teaching of Jesus and the Injil is that we are to harbor anger or hatred toward no one. We should have s true sense of God’s love and reflect it to others.

El perdón va con Dios, como las estrellas van con el Cielo. El perdón es necesario para entender y aplicar en nuestras propias vidas cuando sabemos que no merecemos ser el perdonador. “Porque si perdonáis a los hombres sus ofensas, os perdonará también a vosotros vuestro Padre celestial; mas si no perdonáis a los hombres sus ofensas, tampoco vuestro Padre os perdonará vuestras ofensas” Mateo 6: 14-15. Es muy importante recordar esta sabiduría porque muchas veces no somos rápidos para perdonar. Pero según Jesús, quien revela el carácter de Alláh, debemos poseer un espíritu perdonador. Jesús llega tan lejos como para decir que debemos perdonar a nuestro agresor 70 x 7 (setenta veces siete). Mateo 18: 21-22

If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:14-15.

It is very important to remember this wisdom because often times we are not quick to forgive. But according to Jesus, who reveals Allah’s character, we are to possess a forgiving spirit. Jesus goes so far as to say that we should forgive our offender 70 x 7(seventy times seven). Matthew 18:21-22.
